Sensory Sensitivity Theory
Everyone is sensitive to a dominant sense.
Through this dominant sense our environment can easily bother us. Knowing yourself can improve your life drastically. For example, if noise is your dominant sense, as it is for me, then using airpods pros can create serenity in situations that would otherwise unconsciously miff you.
Knowing others can make you extremely considerate to them (almost clairvoyant if they don't know this theory).
More examples that helped form this theory:
Ex. My friend Connor is sensitive to touch first. He doesn’t like when people unnecessarily shake his hand or put their arm on his shoulder.
Ex.2 My dad is sensitive to smell. My friend Tigran is too. They open the door after anyone cooks, they comment on most smells instantly as it pulls them out of their standard operating procedure.
